                             “In Prayer to The Father”
                           Part Six


“Father, I THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYER.
I KNOW THAT YOU HEAR ME ALWAYS,
BUT I SPEAK FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THESE WHO ARE
STANDING AROUND ME, SO THAT THEY MAY BELIEVE IT
WAS YOU
WHO Sent ME” PRAYED JESUS…THEN, “LAZARUS COME
FORTH!”
John 11:40-42.

“It is the SPIRIT that gives life…not the Scriptures,” writes
Tyndale.
The Lord Jesus said to the Jews, “You search the
SCRIPTURES, for in them you think you have eternal life; but
these are they which testify of Me” John 5:39. What is the
Lord saying here? The document of the Scriptures will not
give you life…but if you will “come to Me” …
the Holy Spirit will! He will make them come alive in your spirit!

You search and read the Holy Writ, thinking that by searching
and reading all the Holy Writ…you will have eternal life; “but in
the volume (entire Writ) of the Book it is written about Me!”
“But you are not willing to come to Me that you might have
LIFE. “ John 5:40. In other words Saints, the Lord is saying,
“COME TO ME, TALK TO ME, ASK ME; DON’T PRAY TO
THE SCRIPTURES, TO THE BIBLE. COME TO ME!

ADREESS MY FATHER, IN MY NAME! Study the Scriptures
yes indeed, for God is speaking to us by the Spirit! However,
we must come to the Father through the Son…and tell Him
everything in simple language… Have supper with Jesus, He
bends His ear to us, especially early in the morning! He calls it
“the disciple’s ear: “He awakens Me morning by morning, He
awakens My ear to hear as the learned (discipled). The Lord
God has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious, nor did I
turn away” Isaiah 50:4b-5. Don’t be rebellious as He trains &
keeps you in the way that you should go, let Him direct your
path…this is the way!

This is a prophecy relating to the Messiah Jesus…this is
exactly how
Yahweh, Father God communed with His Son. This is the way
Jesus

grew in wisdom, the Scriptures were explained to Him by the
Father through the Spirit. The record tells us how He was up
early every morning…before dawn praying, just talking to His
Father! It was at these prayer sessions He knew about the
day’s agenda. Read the verses again, because this is the
exact same way He reveals Himself to you and I…the pattern
and methods are exactly the same.

This is God’s STRATEGY for His Son! And, this is the
STRATEGY that Jesus, Yeshua has for you and I…the very
same! In your ear…you will hear the Spirit directing you, He
will drop a word, a revelation just for you, in your ear. “He
opens your ear to hear what the Spirit is saying.”

The Lord Jesus, when working God’s works (glories), did not
usually pray to the Father before He performed any miracle….
He just spoke the word! That is why we read, “I know that
You, Father, always hear Me, but because of those around
Me…who do not believe that You sent Me, I am praying to
You instead of just speaking the word. Jesus KNEW His
words never dropped to the ground unfulfilled.” Even the
angels were Sent to fulfill His words. You see, every morning,
He had already supped with His Father…He was directed by
the Holy Spirit. You and I are directed by the Spirit
also…perhaps to answer someone’s prayer or fulfill a need of
healing, teaching, a word of encouragement, or even a
rebuke…in love. However it may come, GOD ANSWERS
PRAYER!
“You have not because you ask not.”
THE WORKS ARE CALLED GLORIES
Any sign, wonder, or miracle, which Jesus performed were
called the “works” of God. However, Jesus worked the works
by the Spirit of Glory. Let me explain:
   “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see
the GLORY of God” John 11:40. They did not actually see the
invisible glory shining… but they saw the manifestation of
what the GLORY did! Jesus commands Lazarus to come forth,
and the GLORY of God performed His words, or brought the
miracle to pass.
   “This sickness is not unto death (eventhough Lazarus died),
but for the GLORY of God, that the Son of God may be
glorified (honored, magnified) through it” John 11:4. The same
principle applies to us!
   Jesus along with His disciples, walked by a blind man. The
disciples asked the Lord, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his
parents, that he

was ‘born’ blind?” Now, just how could the man have sinned in
his mother’s womb to cause his blindness? Jesus answered,
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the
“works/glories” of God should be “revealed” in him. I must
work the works of Him who Sent Me while it is still day; the
night is coming when no one can work (God’s works). As long
as I Am in the world, I Am the light of the world” John 9:1-5.
Meaning, that He had to teach His disciples and perform all
the “GLORIES” before Satan would have Him crucified, ’the
night is coming!’ But, “as long as I Am in the world, I Am the
Light!” One day when I Am no longer here physically, you, My
disciples, will be the light of the world to work the GLORIES of
God!
   “I must work the works!’ Can you see and understand that
you and I must work the works/glories of God. Brother Cerullo
teaches…the reason we are not seeing God’s works being
done…is because “we are not working them!” Even Jesus
said, “I must work the works of God.”
   Another Scripture that will confirm this teaching is found in
John also. It is the wedding at Cana when they ran out of
wine…not grape juice, and Jesus changed water into wine! I’m
sure you have read the story of His first sign/miracle/work or
glory! “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee,
and manifested His GLORY; and His disciples believed in
Him” John 2:11. The GLORY that was revealed was
INVISIBLE! The works/glories of God confirmed His
words…that is, that He was who He said He was. If we are
preaching and teaching that Yeshua, Jesus is the true and
only Messiah, the true Gospel of the Kingdom…then we
should have what we say confirmed, by the demonstration of
the GLORIES of God also, which is none other than His
presence! Remember, you and I do not bring it to pass, the
Spirit does, “He doeth the works!”

Does the GLORY ever become visible? Why YES He does!
The GLORY was visible on Moses’ face. Jesus was
transformed from head to toe on the Mount when the GLORY
that was INVISIBLE, hidden behind the flesh…broke through!
“And we saw His GLORY, the GLORY as of the only begotten
Son of God” John 1:14. When one is “born-again,” he or she
is born-again of this GLORY…who is the Holy Spirit, the one
who creates!
   Stephen’s face shone; Paul, was struck down by this “bright
light”
that shone round about him knocking Paul off his high-horse…
and

rendered him blind. The angel’s that appeared at the birth of
Messiah were accompanied with GLORY! You and I are
suppose to minister the Spirit of GLORY to one another and to
the World…being the Light thereof. Selah! Better known to the
Hebrews as Shekina(h)!

What is it that crowds our minds…that keeps our faith so
lifeless and small? “For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a
mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, ‘Move from here
to there,’ and it shall move (obey you); and nothing shall be
impossible to you” Matthew 17:20.
   One thing that causes our unbelief is the teaching that it
refers to spiritual mountains…but Jesus’ teaching meant it
LITERALLY!
    One example: this mountain is not a spiritual mountain in
your life…it is a literal one! The teaching that it is spiritual
mountains facing you in your life, eventhough we have them,
crowds our minds into unbelief of what the Lord actually is
saying…and we give way to the unbelief! We understand
spiritually, but we literally do (work) speak to it. We must stop
spiritualizing everything, which is easy to do.

When Carl and I were missionaries among the Guaymi Indians
in Panama…we had been taught that the miracles of healing
had passed away with the apostles. Therefore, we did not
believe that God performed any kind of signs and wonders!
The people were in desperate need of healing miracles. We
were very limited to medication of any kind. We thought…”if
there is no medicine, the people will just have to die, how
could we help them?” The Indians came to us early every
morning asking for the “magic needle” that would cure all! I
often wondered, not daring to ask God, why He didn’t work
miracles anymore because we were in such great need?
Listen, false doctrine has hindered the Spirit of GLORY from
manifesting for centuries! “He who believes in Me, the works
that I do he shall do also; and greater glories/works than these
will he do, BECAUSE I GO TO MY FATHER! And whatsoever
you ask in My name, that will I do.” Why? “THAT THE
FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED (REVEALED, MAGNIFIED) IN
THE SON. If you ask anything in My name…I will do it” John
14:12-14.
The Word GLORY
Means: renown; whatever brings honor; praise and adoration;
height of excellence or prosperity; splendor or brilliance; a
halo.
Glorious; glorify, to exalt; to shed radiance on; to magnify!

“Ask” here, is more like speaking directly to the object, thing,
or person that needs to be dealt with, that is, you are not
asking it, but ordering it as Jesus did. The difference is USING
HIS NAME! According to these scriptures… Jesus is speaking
about doing the works of God that He
Himself did, not praying, you have already done that; now you
have gone out to work the works, wherever in a days path you
are led.
You don’t say necessarily: “I order you to such and such,” but
you order by saying: “Little girl arise,” or “No fruit grow on
you,” or “Be healed!” Don’t be afraid to use the name Jesus,
don’t compromise!

After I was baptized in the Holy Sprit…I had my eyes and ears
opened! And the Devil is constantly trying to steal from me
what I have experienced to be true! We should not be making
‘flesh’ our arm (power). We must with all our hearts want to
see the GLORY revealed…
As the apostle Paul said, “When it pleased the Father to
REVEAL HIS SON IN ME” Understand that you are in the
Son…that meaning, the Body of Christ…is the body of the
Son. We are to magnify, reveal or glorify Christ in our bodies
whether by life or by death! as Jesus glori-fied the Father!
Galatians 1:15-16; Philippians 1:20; 1 Corinthians 6:20.

The Spirit Filled Bible (SFB) makes this note: The promise is
not that disciples of Jesus will perform works greater in value
or significance than His. Rather they are greater in scope and
number, in these respects:
1)        Because He was crucified. Jesus’ earthly ministry was
limited to only a few years, but after the Resurrection and
Pentecost, His ministry was and continues to be multiplied
through Spirit-empowered believers.
2)        The works of the Holy Spirit include preaching the
Gospel and His gift coming to mankind…all post-Resurrection
manifestations of Messiah’s reign. “For the Father loves the
Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He
will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel”
John 5:20
Notice too, the works to be done in Jesus’ Name are to: “he
who believes in Me!” And, don’t forget the next verses…”if you
love me, keep My commandments” 14:15-18!

I heard Brother Cerullo on a teaching tape say, “About two
hours or so, before he goes into his Meeting…he begins in
prayer binding the spirits (demons) of sicknesses (names
different ones), tormenting demons, spirits of turmoil that
would hinder the meeting and the people, etc. Then, he would
loose some spirits…angels of God that are Sent to war in the
atmosphere binding (forbidding) the evil-unclean spirits to
move among the people, and working (loosing) miracles on
the people.” In other words, Saints, “Using the keys of the
Kingdom” that is, the authority and the power that goes with
the keys!

Brother Cerullo stated that he had been doing this for
years…but didn’t know it himself! because he always prayed
in the Spirit. But one afternoon while praying thusly…the Spirit
interpreted his tongues into English and revealed to him
exactly how the Spirit was giving orders in the spirit world.
Since then, he began to pray with his understanding also!

Father Yahweh God, please Send Your Spirit of GLORY upon
the faces of Your children; in our homes, in our
Meetings…May You be at our right hand so that we will not be
moved…
Glorify Your Son in us! In Jesus’ Name, do it!

Loose means: to free from constraint; to untie; to disconnect;
to relax; to discharge; to set sail; to let go; free; unbound and
flowing…We must set free the Holy Spirit to flowing….

“The Spirit is upon Me,” said Jesus, “to let the oppressed go
FREE!”
