| The Strategies of Jesus How He Defeated Satan “Renew Your Mind” Part Three Pastor Joseph Sesay, Sierra Leone, Africa, said he began his New Year with his precious flock of Sheep…teaching Isaiah 43:18-20 “Do not remember the former things. Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth: I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert … This people I have formed for Myself: They shall declare My name.” Thank you Brother, God does have an End-Time destiny! “Thinking Like Jesus” I asked one night as I lay down to sleep. “Lord, how are you changing me?” About three o’clock in the morning He said gently, awaking me, “I am changing you by the way in which you think!” Remember how we learned the word ‘morphi,’ to ‘transfigure,’ ‘transform?’ The Holy Spirit is forming Christ in each of us by renewing the spirit of our mind-thoughts! And, “In Him is no darkness at all” 1 John 1:5. Darkness is passing away in us; behold, all things are becoming new! “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed (transfigured) by the renewing of your mind, that you may ‘prove’ (give evidence, produce proof) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2 Brother Cerullo has a book called “Proof Producers” which we will study in this series of lessons, Lord willing. Romans 12:12 SFB Word Wealth conformed, Greek: suschematizo; Strong’s # 4964: Compare “scheme” and “schematic.” Refers to conforming oneself to the outer fashion or outward appearance, accommodating oneself to a model or pattern. Suschematizo occurs elsewhere in the 2 New Testament only in 1 Peter 1:14, where it discribes those Conforming themselves (their minds) to worldly lusts. Even apparent or superficial conformity to the Present world system or any accommodation to its ways Would be fatal to the Christian life. Your mind is like a computer. Everyday information is being fed into it through your eyes and ears. Things which you hear or see at work…at home…on television or radio, at church preached…on tapes, books, et cetra, wherever you go…your mind is being programmed. Through these experiences, LIMITATIONS have been placed in your mind regarding the power and wisdom of God. But Paul said ‘that he had the “mind of Christ!” and, that we too, should have the same mind of the Spirit, so that He may instruct us in the deep things of God, which man has not seen or heard! We Christians must take our “LIMITS” off of God. Remember, everything obeys Him! Our reason for our praying! Please read 1 Corinthians 1-2, which tells us that the “mind” of the Spirit demonstrates the foolish preaching of the Cross of Jesus Christ with power! while the world’s persuasive words of wisdom… cannot! “It is the Spirit that gives (demonstrates) life, the flesh profits nothing! The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life,” said Jesus John 6:63. These words of the Spirit were “rivers of living water (in the desert),” which should flow from the believer’s belly (heart)…who drinks John 7:27! Even Children, when casting out demons, you are demonstrating the river of life because you are giving life to that person! It is an act of supernatural healing, of compassion! CONQUER SATAN KNOWING YOU ARE A SON OF GOD Do you know why the Apostle Paul could go through all the trials and circumstances he faced… prison, beatings, shipwreck, stonings…yet not be defeated? Paul looked on them and said, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9. Why was he not defeated and more than a conqueror? Because he was able to say, “I know in Whom I have believed!” He said, “I am persuaded…it doesn’t make any difference, none of these things move me … can be compared,” compared to what? 3 ”to what I know. I know there is glory waiting for me. It’s inside me! It’s the manifestation of God Almighty and nothing can be compared to that glory. I can go through every test and trial, every circumstance knowing I won’t be defeated!” Take heed, remember who are you! THERE IS A LIFE WITHIN ME THAT CANNOT BE DEFEATED Yeshua, Jesus KNEW God was in Him and would make Him victorious over Satan. God has planned for you and I to think, walk, talk and act as Jesus did. He has planned for us to face Satan and conquer him in the SAME power and anointing Yeshua faced and defeated him with. (This was made available for us at the CROSS! The foolishness of God by His BLOOD! In America, the hymns of the BLOOD have almost vanished! When you and I face sickness and disease in our body or in the body of our friends, loved ones, even those in the world, you can discern the Spirit’s command… if He is telling you to command to leave KNOWING you are a son of God and the same powerful life-giving flow of God dwells in you. Here is where one must know the voice of the Holy Spirit, hear what the Spirit is saying to you as an individual. Money seemed to be a problem for the Infant Church…even for the Apostles. But Jesus, by the Spirit, materialized a coin in the mouth of a fish…of all places; and multiplied bread and fish for multitudes. Many mega-churches in America have money, and ministers, with a very good wage plus, spend it on themselves…however, the power of the Spirit to do the works that only God can work, giving evidence of Himself, is all TALK and no SHOW. But you see, this is not the “method” that the Lord Jesus taught His disciples to teach to those who believed their words. Most Christians all over the world today do not realize what it means to be a son or daughter of Yahweh God. They think it is only theory… there is no reality. Yet, all the Feasts of the Lord for Israel were types and shadows until the Reality came walking! We Believers have not come into a full revelation of what it means to be a son of God. The Ministers in America who spend monies buying luxurious homes (mansions), most expensive cars, latest fashions, and such, love exalting old SELF, while their brothers and sisters have hardly a roof over their heads and food to eat…will answer to God! It is God’s money they are spending! They have their reward already! It is shameful and IT IS SIN! 4 Paul said we are to work with our own hands…having enough for ourselves, also having enough to give to others in need. If we, “seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…all other necessities of life will be added to us! NOT ALL YOUR FLESHLY DESIRES TO BE RICH AND FAMOUS! If this line of teaching were true, as is being taught today, then the Apostles were contradicting what Jesus taught. “Many who have pursued money, have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” It is not a sin to have money Saints, God knows that! But we have been programmed to think we need certain kinds of expensive buildings to live in and worship in…when all the time the Temple of God is my own precious b o d y! “Where two or three are gathered in His NAME…there Am I in their midst!” Whether it be in your Home, under a Tree or in a Building, it does not matter, He still will work His work! GOD IS NOT MANIFESTING HIS SONS YET, BUT HIS SON, YESHUA, JESUS! POWER TO BECOME! “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to’ become’ the sons of God, even to them who believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of (the will of) God” John 1:12. “Of His own will begat (conceived) He us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” James 1:18. Just as Jesus, was conceived by the Holy Spirit in Mary’s womb, the very life of Yeshua Messiah conceived you and I by the same Holy Spirit! Mary was genetically altered to BECOME an extension, ‘acceptable door,’ for God’s Son! Let us learn about WARFARE IN THE HEAVENLY REALM…! “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God (as did Jesus…KNOWING) that you may be able to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand against…Praying/prophesying the Word…which is the Sword of the Spirit Eph 6:10-18! To stand against means to hold at bay aggressively or to stand in front of and oppose; “wrestle” means to engage actively in one-on-one combat; and to stand means to be found standing after an active battle… and standing you are ready for the next battle with the devil, seeing his backside…running! 5 What do most we Christians know about STATEGIES or the Angelic rulers of darkness, principalities, powers, wicked demons, anyhow? Muchless, of the Angelic hosts, who are powers also, in the Kingdom of God? Yahweh God told Daniel that KNOWLEDGE would increase Daniel 12:4. And so it has! But it has not increased just for worldly powers, you know! God also said, “that His own people are destroyed for the lack of KNOWELEDGE, because you have rejected KNOWLEDGE, I also will reject you from being priest for me” Hosea 4:6. Yahweh also told Daniel “that the wicked would not understand the KNOWLEDGE of God in the last days…but the wise of His people would, and that they would be strong and do exploits. “Those that are wise shall SHINE (be transfigured) like the stars” 12:1-13! Remember how Moses’ face SHONE with the glory of God Exodus 34:29 seq., and he didn’t even know it? And Stephen, accused of ‘blasphemy,’ working signs and wonders, full of faith, relating to the Jews the history of the promise of Abraham; and as he was being stoned and gazing into heaven he saw the GLORY of God and Jesus standing at His right hand Acts 6:8-7esp. 54- 60. In Lesson Part 4 we shall learn how the DNA of the Watchers, God’s fallen angels, not only merged with women, but that the offspring began to sin against birds, beasts and reptiles. The Old Testament contains many references to genetic oddities that developed among men following the creation of the NEPHILIM, including unusual size, physical strength, six fingers, six toes, and even lion-like features 2 Samuel 21:20; 23:20. We will learn scientific breakthroughs, as well as, spiritual breakthroughs; i.e. how mature women were used (changed/altered) to BECOME extensions, acceptable ‘doors or gates’ for the Watchers on Earth, since there is a two-fold part of the Genesis 6 story…by Thomas Horn; and how DNA’s “forbidden wisdom” is being transferred today! Science has learned and is ‘transgenically blending’ species with human DNA as well as animal and plant DNA (various living organisms) eventhough it remains a mystery…Children, we are going to learn some exciting things!
