| The “Great Sea Prophecies " Regarded as being the “Middle of the Old World” Part Two (of the Iron & the Islamic Clay) The “Great Sea” aka The “Mediterranean Sea” Please Note: Much of the Great Mediterranean Sea information is taken from Wikipedia Encyclopedia on line. It seems that among the Evangelicals today the doctrines of the Dispensationalists and the Preterists are battling it out on “Who has the correct teaching?” “Who has mastered the whole eschatological interpretation in its completeness?” I sure haven’t! The Pre-millennialists, the Amillennialists, and the Post-millennialists all have their different interpretation of end-time Scriptures. Preterists (Fulfilled Preterists, that is) believe that most or all of Bible Prophecy (especially the big three events) has already been fulfilled in Christ and in the on-going expansion of His Kingdom on earth. They believe that the Olivet Discourse and the Book of Revelation have been fulfilled. It is beginning to spread like wildfire at the grass roots level. It is already represented in nearly the whole of Protestant denominations and the Roman Catholic Church, some not being aware of it. Beginning with Revelation 12 there are two groups of preterists that part company in their interpretation of John’s vision: • One camp believes chapters 12-19 continue the prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem (identifying Babylon also with Jerusalem). • The second camp believes that Babylon is the city of Rome and the remaining chapters assume that the judgment of Jerusalem, the first great persecutor of the saints, is complete. 2 The second great persecutor of the church, Imperial Rome, is thus to be conquered in the visions that lie ahead 12-19. (The only thing is…the first persecution of Rome, was against the Jewish non-believers, and not the saints. The Jews themselves, persecuted the Christian Jews. No statue of any emperor or Zues…etc. was placed in the Holy of Holies, nor was there any mark issued for buying and selling placed on the forehead/hand of any person in the Roman Empire. And, there was no resurrection of the saints! Neither was there a return of our Lord and King Messiah, which He had promised that He would! However, that Jewish & Roman War did last three-and-one-half years from A.D. 66-70, which overthrew Jerusalem and the Temple, and sent the Jewish people Captive into all nations. The final tribulation period will last three-and-one-half years and then comes the END, which will complete Daniel’s prophecy. At least, Children, please study it out. DANIEL’S FOUR BEASTS According to the interpretation of an angel to Daniel, regarding the four beasts he saw coming out of the sea (Sea), Daniel 7:2 “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea.” Please notice: it is The Great Sea, which Daniel is referring to, not a sea of people, nor just any sea. And, in verse 17 the interpretation is, “Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which arise out of the earth. V. 18 “But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom (of God/Heaven), and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.” It will be at this time, the time predicted of the ‘Great Sea Prophecies’ that the saints possess the kingdom…Rev 13. The beasts come up out of The Great Sea, designating the geographical area, location, or region of the prophecy; and, the kings are four (not a succession of many), which arise out of the earth relating to these four-beast-kingdoms of the end-time. Notice too: that these four 3 kings are bedfellows in the last days…and form a UNION against the saints of the Most High. Why, the region of the Great Sea? ISRAEL! The reason we know this is the last days is because of the statement made by the angel, v.18: “That the saints will receive the kingdom, and possess it forever!” In order to possess the kingdom forever, one must himself be forever, which simply stated means, “an eternal state of life.” This is the Second Coming of Messiah, and the Resurrection! We also know that these refer to: “in that Day,” “the last of-the- last-days,” in the Vision itself saying, I saw, “And behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days … Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom…His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed” vv.13-14. This is the kingdom, which the saints inherit … “When the time came for the saints to possess (to own, inherit) the kingdom.” Where it all started (Middle East & Israel’s inheritance), it will all end! We are on literal grounds! Everything, and every event, in the political and spiritual worlds that we see taking place, is the fulfilling of the Great Sea Prophecies of Scripture… pertaining to the Middle East, which will affect the World Economy! PATMOS Patmos is a small island off the coast of Asia Minor of the Great Sea, only 25 miles in circumference, approximately 36 miles southwest of Miletus, a city near Ephesus. Remember, that the smaller seas are numbered in the treaties known to the International Hydrographic Organization as the Mediterranean and/or Great Sea, even if the island or sea is given a different name. Revelation 1 Patmos served as a place of banishment during the Roman period. The apostle John, by the time he was banished there, was an old man, during the fourteenth year reign of Emperor Domitian (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History, 3:18-20). Since 1947 it has belonged to Greece. 4 Why am I detailing the surroundings of the isle of Patmos? Because of it’s location and reference to The Great Sea prophecies of Daniel 7 & Revelation 13 “THE BEAST OUT OF THE SEA.” The beast that was! John writing, “And I saw a beast coming out of the sea (Sea).” Where? What sea? The Great Sea! What did the beast look like? He looked like the four beasts that Daniel saw coming up out of the same Sea, same geographical location, only this time, as One, allied. Daniel 7:1-6, the lion, the bear, the leopard and ten horns and seven heads. Everything is centered round the Land of Israel…because of God’s Word “Is it not written?” And since the Christian is included in the commonwealth of Israel, under Messiah Yeshua, it will affect the Body of Messiah as well, as there is only “one flock,” and only “One Shepherd” John 10:16. The Apocalyspe of Yeshua, Jesus, given to the apostle John, is set in the Middle East, but involves the entire planet, cosmos really! And before the ‘four winds’ stir-up the Great Mediterranean Sea, that is, (the four corners of it, by the universal Winds), the twelve tribes of Israel are sealed in their foreheads, Revelation 7: 1-8, indicating that Israel has been restored back to their Land, which borders the Sea! And they have! In Daniel 7:2, “I saw in my night vision, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea.” What Sea? What area of the world is this word of prophecy for? (Spirit Filled Bible uses capital letters when referring to the Sea, as it should). Ask yourself, why are we concerned today about Middle East countries and JERUSALEM, the heavy burdensome Stone? It is because the scripture relating to the “times of the Gentiles ruling Jerusalem” is coming to its end Luke 21:24! Israel will not be led away captive into all nations again! Read carefully the next verses, 25-28. What is to happen when the “times of the Gentiles are fulfilled?” of which time we are entering into and have been for years now. I believe, America will desert Israel, except for true Believers of Israel’s Olive Tree! What Children, are we experiencing, if not the the distress of nations upon people and leaders? Days of Noah’s corruption filling the whole earth! Saint’s, take heed lest you fall! “There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars, and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea 5 and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken; then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Perplexedly means: bewildered, a confused state of mind! In Revelation 7:1-8, the Lord Jesus is giving to His bondservant John the interpretation of that end-time prophecy, “After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, (in Daniel 7 it was the four winds of heaven but here, it is the earth) holding the four winds of the earth (global), that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree until Israel has been sealed. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels (winds) to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea.” The twelve tribes of Israel were sealed on their foreheads indicating the ownership of Yahweh God, and protection! This also indicates the location of the opposition to Israel natural becoming an independent state in Arabic territory, and Spiritual Israel nationwide is included, as indicated by the address to the seven churches, as has been proclaimed by His prophets since the beginning. In these verses, we are to focus mainly on the Middle East and the Great Mediterranean Sea; the earth and the sea pertaining to the Beast that was and is not (now) Revelation 17:8; (eventhough the whole earth is affected), it is to those four-beast kingdoms of the Gentiles, which are revived as a single beast, fulfilling the Great Sea Prophecies. Even to mention the twelve tribes of Israel by name should reveal the Lord’s intended message. The Great Mediterranean Sea was regarded as being the Middle of the Old World. Then in Revelation 7: 9, after the sealing of Israel’s twelve tribes, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their 6 hands…” v. 13) “Who are these, arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” 14) “These are the ones who came out of the ‘great tribulation (along with Israel).” These are the saints of all nations who received Christ, as Messiah during the three-and-one- half year reign of the Beast’s ‘Man of Sin.’ “They did not love their lives even unto death they keep the commandments of Yeshua and Father God. Some of them, still alive “at His coming,” which makes this the first-fruits resurrection, that is, the First Resurrection…see Revelation 20:1-4. Too, we must remember, that the book of Revelation is not written in chronological order. However, it is true that the whole earth will experience the forces of devastation controlled by the four winds. Tribulation is taking place to some degree throughout the whole of the last days for the saints who truly love and serve the Lord…beginning with the Lord Jesus Himself, and, with the outpouring of the Spirit on the day of Pentacost. “If they hated Me, they will also hate you,” said the Lord Jesus. Don’t look for the world to love you…if you are living the truth and are really transparent. The great tribulation describes the acceleration and intensification of troublesome times as this Age comes to an end, climaxing with the Coming of Messiah and the resurrection, SFB. Notice the devil is enraged with the “woman” who gave birth to the man-child…who was to rule the earth with a rod of iron Revelation 12. Who gave birth to such a Man-Child, the Church? No! “Salvation is of the Jews (Judah’s tribe) John 4:22,” said Jesus! The Christian Church, (eventhough the Catholic Church teaches this doctrine), does not give birth to other saints, (although we are to bear much fruit), she is not our mother! This Man-Child was caught up to heaven, to the right hand of Father God, and to the New Jerusalem, “SHE IS OUR MOTHER,” states the apostle Paul Galatians 4:26. All saints are birthed from this City and country of citizenship! Why? because, of the New Covenant in Christ Jesus. She who is in heaven is pregnant with a new nation of children to be born in a day with glorified bodies! It was considered that the city of Jerusalem was the mother who bore sons and daughters for the people of Israel…”who are in bondage with her children!” Example: I am called a daughter of California of European descent. Even, the black people who are 7 born in America, are considered children of Africa, called African Americans. Likewise with the Mexican Hispanic people, Chinese people and so forth. As to the New Birth for all of God’s people…they are citizens of New Jerusalem…that comes down out of Heaven! And, national Israel as well, will be birthed from this same heavenly Mother, “not by power, nor by might, but by My Spirit,” saith the Lord. Revelation 12: 13-14, “When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, (by Michael and his angels) he persecuted the woman (Israel) who gave birth to the male Child (Yeshua).” Then in verse 14, “But the woman was given two wings of an eagle, that she might fly into the desert (wilderness) to her place where she is nourished for a time-times-and-half-a-time, from the presence of the serpent.” Please note: It is not to the mountains as in 70 A. D. when the Lord told the disciples to flee when they saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies. No, this time is to the “desert wilderness.” (Which some teach…the ‘wilderness’ was America! Wrong! Some the Sinai where Moses was given the Ten Commandments)! In the Exodus, deliverance from Egypt’s Pharoah, plagues were poured out upon the Egyptians with an “outstretched arm” and the “finger” of God, through Moses and Aaron. We find the same performance repeated in Revelation after John was told in chapter 10 to eat the “little Scroll.” It is repeated by the “two lampstands,” or “two olive branched prophets,” predicted in Zechariah 4:1-7. In Revelation’s 11 being two branches of the Messiah’s offspring; they are called, “the Sons of Golden Oil,” as they prophesy AGAINST (or before) the nations of the little Scroll. And, what’s more, they are pouring Divine Golden Oil into the Menorah all of Gold! Paul tells us in Roman’s 11 that those who are in Christ, the Messiah, are of this OLIVE TREE! Then again in Revelation 12:14, where John states, “that the woman was given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly to her place in the wilderness (desert)…” In Exodus 19:4, we read, “You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I BORE YOU ON EAGLES WINGS AND BROUGHT YOU TO MYSELF.” Saints, what were God’s eagle’s wings? Was it not 8 through His outsretched arm and the finger of His right hand… working signs and wonders through Moses and Aaron, as the angels performed the miracles? (See Right Hand lessons). Do you see the repeated performance? But here, at the end time, God is against the Gentile nations coming against Jerusalem’s Israel. The Serpent is enraged with the woman, but also, the woman’s offspring who keep the commandments of the Lord Yeshua Messiah. We will see here the fulfillment of Psalm’s 2! John sees, as he stood on the sand of the seashore (at Patmos Island), a Beast rising up out of the Sea! Again, the region is the Great Mediterranean Sea. Here we have the revived Roman Empire by the name of: the “European Union” which will ultimately affect the economy of the whole world. Ultimately too, the Union for the Mediterranean treaty, being signed this July 2008, will bring much stirring in the Great Sea! OIL and inflation, are the weapons beginning to be used for starters! … all because of Israel, Jerusalem, and God’s elect, whether you know it or not! It must begin with a white horse going forth to conquer, then a red horse that takes peace away from the earth (distress of nations with perplexity), then the black horse of inflation and famine, then comes Death and Hades! Revelation 6: 1 seq. However, the end will not come until the Gospel of the Kingdom, relating to Messiah’s death and resurrection, repentance and the ONLY DOOR OF ENTRANCE INTO THIS KINGDOM OF ETERNAL LIFE is preached throughout the world; “then shall the end come,” which will be in the days of the seventh Angel, the last trumpet (shofar), Revelation 10:5-7. Note: the days of the ‘seventh shofar’s sounding’ are plural. GLOBALIZE YOURSELF & “MESSIAH YESHUA” We hear this phrase “GLOBALIZE YOURSELF” on the History Channel everyday! That’s because we are living in the Era of Globalization. Remember the Map, I sent you, dividing the World into a ten One World Government? Well, the Union for the Mediterranean is one of the 10 Kingdoms shown. A little more on the progress of this Union later; but here are some excerpts from an eNews Article k. house.org. • The heads of state of 12 South American nations have signed a historic treaty to create the Union of South American Nations. 9 • Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Gayana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela all signed the treaty. The regional union is meant to accommodate the free movement of people within South America and further integrate policies on everything from trade and economic development to regional defense. Since signing the treaty, the new union has announced plans for a central bank and common currency patterned after the European Union’s euro-zone. • The Union of South America has officially joined the ranks of the European, the African Union, ASEAN, SAARC (all exactly as the map has shown), and other supranational states on the road towards further political and economic globalization. The rise in such continental and regional superpowers represents a key trend that began in the latter half of the 20th century. This trend has picked up steam in more recent years, as political sovereignty and economic control has shifted bit by bit from individual nation-states to supranational globalist organizations. • The new Union of South America has a gross product of about 2 trillion dollars. It has a population of 380 million people. It covers an area of over 17 million square kilometer, making it larger than Russia, the world’s largest country. Furthermore, it possesses 27 percent of the world’s freshwater sources and is the world’s foremost food producer and exporter. • The African Union, yet another product of this era of globalization, is formed from 53 member states and has a population of 850 million people. One of its primary goals is to accelerate the political and socio-economic integration of the continent. Much like the Union of South America, the AU has plans to establish an African Central Bank, Investment Bank, and Monetary Fund, as well as a common currency called the Afro. • The African Union and the new Union of South America both seek to follow the example of the European Union, which has recovered from the devastation of two World Wars to become the “worlds biggest” economy. Over the last fifty years the European Union has emerged as a growing world power. The EU now encompasses more than 450 million people, stretching from the Artic to the Great Mediterranean and east all the way to the Black 10 Sea. Europe’s economy has grown steadily in recent years and can boast of a FDP larger than that of the United States. Furthermore, the Euro is set to take the place of the dollar as the world’s primary reserve currency… depending on the fall of America. • The future no longer rests in the hands of the people. Instead, it will be determined by the bureaucrats in Brussels. The Treaty of Lisbon is just one example of this disturbing trend, lacking two states approval. • International institutions, such as the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, International Monetary Fund, and the various Continental Unions, have helped to build the foundation for a world government system. With each passing year the globalist goal of a “New World Order” becomes more of a reality. Despite what many people think, the term “new world order” did not originate with radical rightwing conspiracy theorists; it was coined in the early 1900s by those who advocated Increased Globalization; and, in the mid-90s the term “new world order” was replaced with the term “Global Governance.” However the essential goal of this movement remain the same. America, Canada, and Mexico are already underway forming the North American Union it is the number 1 on your map, and The Mediterranean Arabic nations # 7, this includes Northern Africa. Central Africa, east and west, is # 8, while the Southern tip is numbered with Australia, being # 4. PROPHECY NEWS WATCH The current Peace process in the Middle East is to include 44 nations instead of 37…some are calling it “Club Mediterranean.” The new proposals focus on raising the profile with 13 Mediterranean representatives for the summit and ministerial meetings, and would see a new forum to be launched in Paris on July 13-14 with a raft of projects. Which is tomorrow as I write. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has called tomorrow’s Paris Summit for the Mediterranean “The best news for peace in the Middle East.” Before the summit even started, the French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner declared the gathering “a historic success.” Speaking in Egypt, Ireland’s foreign minister Michael Martin called the meeting “an important initiative, and one we support strongly.” For the first time, all states with a Mediterranean shoreline (border) will gather, along with the EU 27, under 11 the glass dome of Grand Palais in central Paris. Forty-one of the 44 heads of state government who were invited will attend, itself no small feat. (See lesson Euro-Mediterranean again please). The forum, called “Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean,” will unite 44 nations. They will include the 27 EU states and 13 partners: Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Mauritania, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Tunisia, and Turkey… Plus Bosnia and Monaco at this time. The association described by the EU falls short of what France…and in particular President Nicolas Sarkozy who initiated the ambitious plan of a Mediterranean Union with EU had envisioned, the Euro-Mediterranean, (little are they aware, they are fulfilling God’s Word)! The Man of Sin will be Islamic Clay! Sarkozy had wanted his vision as a potential avenue for peace between Israel the Palestinians…even hinted it might be offered to Turkey as an alternative to EU membership. Turkey has only agreed to participate to the new structure if offered assurances that it will be accepted as a member state into the EU. (I heard that it was denied membership?). See Euro Mediterranean Union lesson…10 kings. (?) • The developments, of course, have many prophetic and Biblical implications! Globalize Yourself and the Gospel of the Kingdom, Children. Find out what God is doing in both worlds. Bottom line for us is: Holiness to the LORD! “For without Holiness, no one shall see the LORD.” May the LORD stretch out His hand to heal, to work His works among you, in order that many souls will see and hear the Word of the Kingdom of Heaven active in all of us.
