           The Great Sea Prophecies Of Daniel’s four Kingdoms
                                 Part One
                  (Of the Iron & the Islamic Clay)

The next war will be unlike any war ever experienced before in the
Middle East!

The “Great Sea” aka The “Mediterranean Sea”
Until recently, I have not understood fully the connection of the
prophesied End-Time mo’ed-events, made by the Prophets,
surrounding the Land of Israel and the Great Sea…mainly, because
of the name change given to it: The Mediterranean Sea. However,
the Lord drew my attention back to the ancient “Great Sea” and the
Scriptures pertaining to it, the Middle East, Europe and the Land of
Israel restored (Acts 1:6)!
   Let me share, what I see, as the Holy Spirit’s revelation. Please
look at your map(s) of this Sea and surrounding landmass
areas…you will find the End-Time Prophecies more relevant, more
understandable, to the Israel of Yahweh, the Saints of Messiah
Yeshua, than ever before. But first, there is need for a few facts of
informational input.
THE SEA
The Great Sea is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean almost completely
enclosed by land: on the north by Europe, on the south by Africa,
and on the east by Asia. It covers an approximate area of 965,000
square miles, but its connection to the Atlantic (the Strait of
Gibralter) is only 9 miles wide.
THE NAME
The term Mediterranean derives from the Latin word mediterraneus
meaning, “middle of the Earth” (medius, “middle” + terra, “land,
earth”). To the ancient Romans, the Mediterranean was the centre
of the Earth! This should explain the many quotations “whole earth,”
“earth, land,” made by the OT prophets, NT apostles, writers and
other found manuscripts.
   The Mediterranean Sea has been known by a number of
alternative names throughout history. The Latin’s called it Mare
Nostrum (Our
Sea), “Mare Internum” by the Romans, and the Greeks named it

Mesogeios, meaning “middle land, earth.” In the Old Testament
Scriptures, it was Known as the “GREAT SEA” or simply “THE
SEA.” In Arabic, it is Al-Abyad Al-Mutawassit, “the middle white
sea,” and Turkish, it is Akdeniz. In oceanography, it was sometimes
called Eurafrican or European Mediterranean Sea.

But for our study lesson…it is very important for us to understand
that prophecy relating to Yahweh God’s people…has referred to it
as “THE GREAT SEA!” And, this is not in reference to a “sea of
people” unless you are referring to those peoples of the “Great Sea.”

PROMISED LAND BOUNDRIES OF ISRAEL
In Numbers 34:5-7 the Lord spoke to Moses regarding the appointed
boundaries of Canaan, “The border shall turn from Azmon to the
Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea. As for the western
border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border. And this shall be
your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your
border line to Mount Hor.”

The Lord speaking to Joshua 1:3-4 said, “Every place that the sole
of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the
River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea
toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.”

The Treaty with the Gibeonites…Joshua 9:1 “And it came to pass
when all the kings who were on this side of the Jordan, in the hills
and the lowlands and in all the coasts of the Great Sea towards
Lebanon…the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the
Hivite, and the Jebusite…heard about it, they gathered together to
fight….” Sound familiar?

Then we find in Chapter 15:47 regarding the cities of Judah,
“Ashdod with its towns and villages, Gaza with its towns and
villages…as far as the Brook of Egypt and the Great Sea with its
coastline…”
Thus we find Scriptures in the Old Testament referring to the now
called Mediterranean Sea, but to the Hebrews called the Great
Sea…and still there are several other Scriptures as well; See Ezekiel

47:10, 15, 20; or simply “The Sea” 1 Kings 5:9; 1 Maccabees 14:34,
15:11. We will have more details pertaining to The Great Sea
Prophecies of Daniel’s four Kingdoms later in this Lesson.

HISTORY LESSONS
The history of the Great Sea region is about the history of the
cultures and peoples of the lands surrounding the Great Sea, …the
central superhighway of transport, trade and cultural exchange
between diverse peoples and their gods. Its history is important to
under- standing the origin and development of Mesopotamian,
Egyptian, North African, Persian, Phoenician, Jewish, Greek,
Roman, Arab, and Turkish cultures …and hence is important to
understanding the development of
Western civilization as we understand it today.

DAWN OF CIVILIZATION AFTER THE DELUGE
Fertile Cresent, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, and History of the
Levant

After the Deluge, Noah’s Ark rested on the mountains of Ararat.
This indicates it landed on an unidentified peak of a mountain chain
in the Ararat region…modern eastern Turkey, southern Russia, and
northwestern Iran Genesis 8:1-19. Genesis 10 gives us the
genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham and Japheth, their
wives, and their sons. The first civilizations after the Flood began in
the eastern Great Sea area, developing first in Mesopotamia
beginning with Sumer in the 2nd (?) millennium BC (some say 4th),
where we have the fiasco of the Tower building of Babel, the
confusion of languages and scattering abroad of the peoples
according to their language and allotted Land. The Nile River valley
of ancient Egypt was unified under the Pharaohs, and civilization
quickly spread through the Fertile Crescent to the east coast of The
Great Sea and throughout the Levant, which happens to make the
Great Sea (Mediterranean) countries of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and
Israel part of the Cradle of Civilization from Noah’s three sons. But
first, let us explain God’s record according to His word to Moses,
the prophets and other anointed writers.
LANDMASSES PRE-DESTINED
Abraham was a descendant of Shem through his father Terah. Eber
is
also Shem’s descendant from whom the Hebrews came to be named.

Abram, later called Abraham, was from Ur of the Chaldeans, located
near the Euphrates River and Persian Gulf area, and from there he
was called by Yahweh God asking him to leave Ur and to eventually
pitch his tents in the land of Canaan Genesis 11-12. Shem’s
descendants were allotted the central portion of land. His
descendants would be Elam (Persia), Asshur (Assyria), who kept
records in Aramaic, the origin of which is Semitic from Aram-
Aramaic, (the language in Mesopotamia in Northern Babylon), Lud
(Lydia), and Aram (Syria) and so forth.

Ham’s sons and their descendants Cush (Kush), Mizraim-(Egypt,
also spelled Mitzraim), Put (Phut North Africa), and Canaan, but
Canaan, the son of Ham, took a portion of Shem’s allotted landmass
and settled there regardless of what Yahweh God had said, thus
“Canaan Land,” aka “The Phoenicians.” The sons of Cush Raamah
and Dedan (whose City was named after him) changed the name
Dedan to Mecca/Mekka in Arabia. And let us not forget the famous
son of Cush, Nimrod, the mighty hunter…. and so forth.

{According to the Hebrew Book of Jasher (referred to in Joshua 10:
13 and 2 Samuel 1:18; also called Book of the Just or Upright,
translated Jasher; in its pages we find obscure passages cleared up.
One in particular fills-in for us some 340 years that is not realized in
the Genesis record; which gives “plenty of time to propagate and
form Nations” not born in a day! And another passage explains the
allotted portions of landmasses to each of the sons of Noah and their
descendants, etc. [and so forth)].

Japheth descendants were allotted the Northern lands; Javan is
Greece, Kittim is Cyprus, Togarmah, Gomer, and Magog began their
migrations northward, from the land that is now called Turkey (Asia
Minor), and Japheth’s son Tiras is Italy, and the sons of Ashkenaz
are the Scythians, the son Madai are the Medes, who merged with
Shem’s descendant Elam, better known as the land of Persia (Iran),
and so forth. The sons of Gomer have colonies such as Spain,
Tarshish, Basque, France, and Germany and many others. North
and northwestward we have what we know today as Europe (still
traces of Rome’s Iron) and far north Russia. [Europe is being
overtaken by the Islamic Clay].

These three sons of Noah and their families according to their
generations, in their nations; and from these nations the earth after
the
Flood were divided. However, we will notice that all prophecy
pertaining

to God’s people (Israel) is directed toward the Middle East
and those nations relating to Nebuchadnezzar’s “Man-Image” of
peoples surrounding the Land of Israel and The Great Sea.

Thus Children, basically, we have formed for us the kingdoms of
Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron and Clay…the prophecies relating to The
Great Sea (Mediterranean) peoples of Daniel’s four Kingdoms (Dan
2 & 7) and the surrounding nations involving Yahweh God’s people
Israel, Mount Zion, and His city Jerusalem! Thusly creating the feet
and ten toes of Iron and Clay…prophesied by Daniel while being in
exile to Babylon in the late 6th Century B.C. The unsealed
prophecies of Daniel in the Apocalypse, given by the Lord Yeshua
Himself, to His servant John, for the appointed “Mo’ed-End-Time
Great Sea” generation; is not only of the “Middle East,” but includes
the rest of the world’s economy that is shaping-up before us now
and very rapidly too; especially since the rebirth of the nation Israel,
May 15, 1948, fulfilling Acts 1:6-7; Luke 21:24. The Apocalypse is a
Book of Revelations set in the Middle East!

“Jerusalem will be trodden-down by the Gentiles until…”
So in time, these large empires developed in Asia Minor, northward
into Europe, westward to Egypt North Africa; these are the main
expansion of nations that pertains to Jerusalem, the Gentiles, Jews
and Israel… prophesied by all the prophets of the Old Testament
and confirmed by Yeshua Messiah Luke 21:20-24. The Great Sea
developed Cyprus and the other islands, the Minoan civilization
flourished on the island of Crete. Although the River Valley had
larger populations, the “trading societies” on the coast of The Great
Sea soon became the most prosperous, and rose to power. Selah!
   According to the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO)
treaties, the Mediterranean Sea is subdivided into a number of
smaller seas, each with their own designation e.g.:
1)        The Alboran 2) Balearic 3) Ligurian 4) Adriatic 5) Ionian 6)
Aegean between Greece and Turkey 7) Marmara between the
Aegean and Black Sea; but all these smaller seas are numbered in the
treaties known to the IHO as part of the “Great Mediterranean Sea,”
plus several others. I mention these smaller seas because of scripture
I intend to equate with prophecy for you.

COMPARING SCRIPTURE WITH SCRIPTURES
The Visions of John are not in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. “The
Prophecies of this Book” to John speaks of the “Beast You Saw
Was, And Is Not,” has the feet of a Bear, the mouth of a Lion and
the body of a Leopard; this would include Nebuchadnezzar’s Man-
Image landmass (es) of. 1) Babylon (Gold-head), 2) Medes and
Persians (silver-chest & arms), 3) Greece (Bronze-thighs/hips), 4)
Rome (Iron-legs-east & west divided), and End-Time Kingdom(s)
(Iron-Europe & Clay-Islam) -feet & toes), is a COMPOSITE
Kingdom of the Great Sea’s “four beast kingdoms,” geographically
(revived), that will include the seven heads and ten horns of the EU
and the NEW “Euro-Union of the Mediterranean.” This End-Time
Islamic generation will produce the Man-of-Sin, incarnated by Satan
after being cast out of heaven to the ground by Archangel Michael
Rev 12:7-11. Then for three-and-one-half years, according to the
Apocalypse of Yeshua to John, which by an angel, chapter 13 was
interpreted to John, in Rev 17:7-18, in the late first Century A.D. It
will be the last 42 months of Satan’s rule over the earth through the
Man of Sin.

Since it was revealed to Paul that the “END OF THE AGES HAVE
COME UPON US (THE BODY OF MESSIAH”) 1 Co 10:11, “And
in the age to come Life is Eternal,” it follows that the age to come,
then, must be the Millennial Age, doesn’t It?

The Kingdoms of Daniel’s Prophecies
Chapter Seven
1)        In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a
dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down
the dream, telling the main facts.
2)         …”I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds
of heaven were stirring up “The Great Sea.”
3)        And four great beasts came up from the Sea (The Great Sea
implied), each different from the other.
4)        The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till
its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and
made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given
to it.
5)        And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was
raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its
teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’
6)         After this I looked, and there was another (beast), like a
leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also
had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
7)        After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth
beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron
teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue
(the balance of what was left of its devouring) with its feet. It was
different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
(No seven heads mentioned).
8)        I was considering the horns, and another horn, a little one,
coming up among them (the 10), before whom three of the first
horns were plucked out by the roots (to make way for it). And there,
in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking
pompous words (lit. great things).
9)        I watched until thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of
Days was seated; His garment was white as snow (glorious
splendor), and His hair was like pure wool. His throne was a firey
flame, its wheels a burning fire; … 10) a firey stream issued and
came forth from before Him, a thousand thousands ministered to
Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court
was seated, and the books were opened.

   We will continue to compare Scripture with Scripture in Part Two,
as we see rising out of “THE SEA” a beast having the feet of a bear,
the mouth of a lion, the body of a leopard having seven heads and
10-horns upon his head!

   May the Lord keep you in His PERFECT WILL! Not veering, to
the left, or to the right, nor waffling, Saints. Hold your eyes directly
upon Jesus, Yeshua the Author and Finisher of our faith.
